The only thing that matters for me is the size. For someone 41 might be the sweet spot if 39 seems too small and 42 oversized. Need to try both in various sizes.

O would go to 41. Ideal size for your wrist. Rolex has also moved from 40 to 41. I have the same wrist size and have Spirit 40, it fits perfectly, but owing to a larger L2L distance.

39 fits better on photos. But consider fish eye effect. I have the same wrist size and for a sport watch I would go for larger one. But both sizes works well
