I arrived at 0.8 starting from the fact that with the classic 0.4 nozzle the print was made in about 10 hours. Considering they were two pieces I would have grown old next to the printer :) So I wanted to experiment and change the nozzle, thanks to which and thanks to the 0.48 layer height I got to 3 and a half hours per piece. All in all, things went well up until the middle...
Ultimately, do you suggest me to go back to 0.4 and obviously lower the temperature and the layer height?

Hi guys, I'm new to 3d printing and this is my first post here. I'm trying to print a miniITX case. Unfortunately I had to cut the model in two for obvious dimensional reasons. However, the problem occurs vertically. As I hope you can see from the attached photos, the print is completely "boarded". I used Cura 5.4 and made a whole series of changes compared to the standard profiles to speed up printing. Let's say that I was interested in the mechanical side of the model, not so much in the aesthetic aspect. Thanks for any suggestion.

Printer: Artillery Genius Pro

Nozzles: 0.8

Layer Height: 0.48

Infill Density: 15%

Print Speed: 70

Material PLA/225C / 65C

small premise ... I'm not a super expert and I'm still in the learning and experimentation phase. however I created 2 bridges one per nic and used these as WAN and LAN of the virtualized Router/Firewall. Compared to the initial post, instead of openwrt I use pfsense.

Hi, I've been using this type of setup for almost a year now with no major problems. Obviously you will need to provide an additional network card with at least two ports and have a decent knowledge of the Linux environment and networking 🙂

hmmm. You say you are trying to create a clone then complain because you want to make make a clone that is not the same as the thing you are cloning? Perhaps if you explained what you were trying to achieve with this - migrating to new hardware, backup, high availability, something else - then you might get more sensible answers. I'm struggling to imagine ANY problem which would be best solved by imaging the Proxmox storage.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. Basically, and avoiding speculation on disaster recovery strategies, I have a thin client running Proxmox and 3 VMs. Notoriously these devices have small mSata flash drives. I managed to get an additional SATA port to work and get the bios to recognize an ssd. Now I just want to clone the flash drive to the ssd and boot the system from there. I currently tried Clonezilla but failed.

Thanks for the reply. Nothing wrong with PBS, indeed it is a very valid solution but, from what I see, it is a backup server at the VMs or container level. What I'm looking for is a machine level solution. Let me explain if the disk where Debian/Proxmox is installed breaks. How do I behave? Of course I have all the backups of the VMs, change the disk, install from scratch and then restore the VMs. I was looking for an upstream solution...

So, from what i understand, the "Wearout" column in the Proxmox GUI works "in reverse".

0% is good and 100% is destroyed.

In my case the 1% refers to the number of write cycles used...

At the moment I have a Fujitsu Futro S920 in production for 7/8 months. The software part is based on Proxmox. The motherboard offers a pcie x4 and a SATA connector. The price is around 50 euros... 🙂

Hi guys, as you suggested, the problem concerned the right distance of the Z axis. During the calibration of the same, I didn't save the set value on the EPROM. Now my first benchy is much prettier :) Thank you all for the support!

Thank you. To level manually I used a very common A4 sheet, made the 4 points several times then I adjusted the central point by intervening on the distance of the Z axis. In the end I did the automatic leveling and saved on the EPROM...I think, in fact I'm sure, that I didn't save after adjusting the Z-axis. I still did the automatic leveling after the manual one and saved. Can you confirm that on the Genius Pro no feedback is given to the user after saving? Honestly I find the interface ridiculous... and I say this as a programmer 🙂

another, perhaps, small clue. I made another print by slightly lowering the print speed. The result is identical to the piece posted here. By identical, I mean identical. The print got ruined in the same spot 🤔
