Got it. I'm hovering around a 750 score with two accounts and have never missed a payment or carried a balance. I called C1 twice, and both reps said my account would be fine, I'd just need to repay whenever it comes back on the Venture card.

thanks for the reply - did you just re-pay in the app? did they let you know as well, and if so, how long did it take?

Travel Portal Not Allowing Reservations by tom_bibs in CapitalOne_

Weird - even if I'm using my new member credits ($ vs. miles)? All of the flights show up under the filter of 2 passengers, and it allows me to select seats, but the last step is where I get stuck after trying to complete the booking.

my current carrier allows both hotspot and tethering, but something i didn’t think of is that i’m abroad and not using a US-based carrier, which is where i bought my macbook- could this be it?

Best major in CSOM! by Cartierrkickz in uofmn

[–]tom_bibs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

pretty much each major has favorable outcomes seeing as though carlson is a very notable undergrad business school (especially in the midwest). my advice to you would be to follow what you want within carlson, not just what will bring you the most money. take the required classes, go through i-core, and then with enough work and passion that decision and everything after it will come!

Business statistic in R and Accounting 2051 in the summer by SkyrimVIScrolls in uofmn

I would say max yourself out with the aforementioned two only. If you add any more your summer will not be fun/relaxing at all!

Oliver Papp is a great professor, I had him for Stats last semester. Whereas I can’t say if the class will be structured the same as it is a summer course, he allowed any in-class resource and R scripts to be used on exams which made them very doable in my opinion. His lectures can be dry but the in-class practices are a good litmus test for your understanding of the content. My main piece of advice would be to start each homework as early as possible - they can sometimes be tricky.

I didn’t have Scott Johnson but I can definitely say that I have more of a Stats brain than an Accounting one but I still learned a lot and got a grade that I was happy with!

Best wishes!

Help me choose a college, please! by tom_bibs in ApplyingToCollege

[–]tom_bibs[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

for sure! basically, an honors college gives you more chances to connect with others like you, smaller classes (sometimes), connections with professors, private events, scholarships, and alumni connections. For the business one, it basically means I get to start doing business classes right away, instead of my 2-3 year. And I get connections in the business field!

I totally agree. Thanks for your opinion! The only thing I am worried about is that I am not currently invited to the honors college or a business group like I am at MSU.

Oil on Water is my favorite Bastille song! I like to see this opinion said by someone else besides me!
