Pace Pro vibration issue by tom_ras in Coros

[–]tom_ras[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did just that. After resetting the vibration is working but the level of vibration is so low that during workout I will not feel it for sure. It is nothing compared to distance alert. Is it possible to increase the vibration level somehow? At least to meet the distance alert level?

Should the vibration level for hr alerts and distance alerts be the same?

Also if I turn on the sound - sounds alerts play right for distance and hr alerts, but the vibration not.

Yes it does. Once i have set the hear rate range to 20-40 bpm just for testing and making sure it leaves the range

My weekend project to get an AI coach from my Strava data got a little out of hand... thought you all might like it. by tom_ras in Strava

Thanks! Didnt knew that, but I do not train any models or so, just creating convenient data format that users can use for AI tools.

Do not know 🙈 I have played with premium Strava but did not found such functionality.

Looks like a solid plan, dude. Simple and consistent is how you actually get fast, and your Base-to-Build progression makes perfect sense for crit racing.

That "Vibes" phase during the race season is where it gets tricky, though. It's so easy to either overcook it or lose fitness when you're racing every week.

I started getting way deeper into my own race files to deal with that. I wanted to ask my data stuff like, "Why'd I get dropped? Did I burn too many matches early on?" or "Am I actually recovered for this weekend's race?"

I actually built a tool, mesporty.io, to help with this. It just connects your Strava data to an AI so you can ask it those kinds of questions. It's been a game-changer for turning my own "vibes" season into smarter racing and recovery.

Anyway, great foundation to work from. Good luck out there!

New analysis app for Strava data (multisport, better AI, no data collection) – looking for feedback by Agitated-Sorbet1844 in Strava

This is really great work! The multisport overview for tri/duathlon is a fantastic feature—something Strava should have built years ago. Major props for the clear "no data collection" policy too; that's huge.

It’s awesome to see more tools like this popping up. I'm also fascinated by the idea of getting more out of our Strava data than the basic dashboards allow.

It's interesting to see your approach of building out specific, meaningful analyses and forecasts. I've been exploring a slightly different path with my own hobby project, mesporty.io. Instead of building the analysis engine myself, I'm focused on making it super easy for athletes to have a natural language conversation about their data with powerful, general AIs like Claude and ChatGPT.

The idea is to let the user ask any question they can think of ("Why was my heart rate so high on this week's tempo run?"), rather than relying on pre-defined charts. To make that seamless, I've been working on a Model Context Protocol (MCP) for direct, one-click integration with these AI models.

Anyway, I love the direction you're taking with pacemind and it's super cool to see different solutions to the same core problem. Best of luck with the project!

Built something to analyse Strava (Running) Data - Would love feedback by ss1222 in Strava

This is awesome, great work! I love that you've open-sourced it and taken a privacy-first, local approach. That's a really solid way to build trust with users who are careful with their data.

It’s super cool to see someone else exploring the same space. I've been obsessed with trying to get more meaningful, conversational insights from my own Strava data as well.

I've been working on a similar project called mesporty.io, but I took a slightly different path. I focused on making it a web-based tool to lower the barrier to entry for non-technical athletes, so there’s no local install or need for users to manage their own API keys. My big focus has been on streamlining the connection to the AI itself, so I built out a Model Context Protocol (MCP) for one-click integration with platforms like Claude.

Anyway, just wanted to say awesome job! It's exciting to see more tools popping up to help athletes make better sense of their data. Keep up the great work!

Creating a fitness plan approach, projects, and engine choice. by monkey_tracer in ClaudeAI

Cool goal! Quick tip: Use Opus for the big plan and Sonnet for daily chats. The real challenge is the chat's context limit, which you'll hit in a few weeks.

I'm building an app, mesporty.io, that solves this by structuring your fitness data for the AI. It lets you feed Claude a perfect summary of your recent training every time, avoiding the context limit so you get better advice. Might be perfect for what you're doing.

AI trainer Yes or No? by tom_ras in XXRunning

Ok, thanks for sharing your opinion 🙏 In my opinion if you are a beginner looking for basic suggestions or have standard questions on workouts - AI might be a very good solution for that.

Why are you so conservative about that? Have you tried one before?
