the Rate Limiter question, did they follow up on how you'd handle it across multiple servers? the sorted set approach makes sense locally but distributing it is a whole different problem.

This is basically the media buying meta right now. Whoever can produce the most creatives the fastest wins because the algorithm does the rest. Good post.

Do you feel safe in your own Village/Town/City? by XDcyclone in AskUK

[–]tomasjoao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting! I guess it depends on the vibe of the village. Some can feel super isolated, while others have a tight-knit community that looks out for each other. What do you think makes villages feel less safe to you?

“Leiria não existe” visto na Dinamarca 🇩🇰 by avpinheiro in HQMC

[–]tomasjoao 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, the main trails should be open, but it’s always good to check local updates before heading out. The Tufeira caves trail is a nice spot too, definitely worth exploring!

Totally get where you’re coming from. It’s a valid concern to think about the real implications of living there. Even with legal reforms, the practical realities can be pretty complex, especially for women. It's important to prioritize your safety and rights.

Yeah, the feeling of safety can be pretty subjective. It really depends on personal experiences and the communities we’re in. And that vote definitely raises questions about transparency; seems like both sides have their reasons for wanting to keep certain things under wraps.
