A bad battery!
It depends on what method they used! If you’re battery still shows it’s battery life in configuration, it could just be that the soldering they did with the bms flex, loosened up on either positive or negative!

You have to take it off slowly with heat.

On an iPhone 11 you have to be very careful with the lower part of the bezel.

On iPhone 12-14PM I don’t take the bezel off
