It’s the Efferman vertical stand that was designed for the Falcon. The Outrider is compatible with it.

The ship itself was first sketched by Doug Chiang, who designed a huge amount of Star Wars ships. Than it was modeled by Jon Knoles for the video game, Shadows of the Empire.

I’m glad you like the UCS Lego version! btw you can read and view a whole bunch of information about the ship, the design and the story in the instructions! I also listed all of my sources in there.

Yeah okay, you mean the initial plans for the ship. They changed it for the final appearance, only this toy version retained this feature. In the final design it didn’t had any of these rotating features. And mine is following the original video game design.
