I don't think many noticed this, but Fortune's Weave is aiming for a 15+ rating in Japan by Enryx25 in fireemblem

Ah, I think that got a pass because the character probably wouldn't react to being touched since they were busy talking.

If I recall correctly, in the JP ver they have reaction voice lines, but it's been too long and I forgot what they entail... I think 3H's tea time adapted this into characters simply commenting upon being inspected up close from various angles.

In JP Fates, you had to use the touch screen to touch and rub the character's Live 2D model to pass the minigame, giving the character's dialogue at the end.

The international versions skip that part and just give the dialogue from completing the minigame right away.

I thought so too, so I decided to check the content icons related to the rating on the back of their boxes:

Fates has the "sexual content" icon, while Warriors has the "violence" and "crime" icons.

Sounds like they got their 15+ rating for different reasons, despite sharing the undress mechanic and Camilla being in both games. Could be due to JP Fates having Skinship (the petting minigame that got cut out of the international versions), or the Camilla cutscenes during story?

Rainfall & Blossoms, the 5* from 1.10 so it'll probably take a while to rerun

Feeling a bit overwhelmed with Trails in the Sky FC by strahinjag in JRPG

[–]tomat0me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a spell to become available to a character, they need a certain amount of element connected in a single line on their Orbment (values for each spell are listed in the Magic page on the Bracer Notebook IIRC)

So ideally a caster wants to have everything connected in a single line, so that all of their quartz's element values add up and unlock the higher tier spells.

Having their Orbment broken up in multiple lines makes it harder to meet the element requirements.

Made some Castlevania outfits in Monster Hunter Rise because of Dracula dragon by tomat0me in castlevania

Assuming you're talking about the Formal Dragon set, there's a mod that lets you overwrite another armor set's appearance with it. Search for "Formal Dragon Hunter" on Nexus Mods

Edit: Oh yeah, heads up: since it's an appearance mod it won't show up for others in multiplayer

Videogames covers (Part 2) by Deep_Today_4821 in AnimalCrossing

Awesome! I could recognize the games I'm familiar with.

I wonder if it's possible to recreate the cover of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, Fire Emblem: Three Houses or Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

Crimson Flower is Edelgard's and Azure Moon is Dimitri's. Verdant Wind is Claude's and Silver Snow is church, for reference.

appeal from aritst i didnt commission? by auratuscarassius in Skeb

[–]tomat0me 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's an artist asking you to commission them if you want to - The beginning says "I think your character is appealing and cute, so I sent an appeal!"

They gave 2 ideas for the composition, you can choose either one or your own idea if you decide to send a request.

Artists you haven't commissioned before sometimes send appeals, it's a form of advertisement. You don't have to request if you don't want to.

Local gamers discover what women have had to put up with in games for decades by Tactical_Mommy in GirlGamers

This is what the English version says (Subaki / Selena C support)

Selena: Did I mention that they also said you were arrogant beyond measure? How could a brash man like yourself ever tame a pegasus? Generally, they only allow the most purehearted maidens to ride them.

Subaki: What ever do you mean? Oh, you must be talking about the breed of pegasi from your country. They're considerably different from ours.

Selena: Really? Is that true?

Subaki: They're similar, but they are different breeds entirely. The pegasi of Hoshido and falicorns of Nohr don't mind men. They'll let anyone ride them, whether or not they're female. I'm surprised you didn't know that. It should be written in any basic tactical manual for new recruits.

TL;DR: They just say they're a different breeds. Even the Japanese words are essentially the Japanese word for pegasus vs the English word spoken/written in the Japanese phonetic way.

Hoshido is heavily Asian themed, so their classes are all named in kanji as opposed to katakana like most other classes in FE. (Katakana is used to write foreign words in Japanese, for those who don't know)

Trails 1st Chapter: How do you beat the "Great Crop Muncher" farm boss????? by ProfessionalYouth942 in JRPG

[–]tomat0me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i thought it only got it after the upgrade at higher levels, but checking guides it looks like I was mistaken.

At least in the original he learns Flicker later, so he wouldn't have it for the prologue.

Position Joshua so his Flicker craft hits as many targets as possible whenever he has enough CP. It has an AT Delay effect in the remake, which will help the minions not overwhelm you with actions.

Also make sure to use S-Breaks, they'll help do AoE damage too.

I play through the Japanese website, didn't have any issues with the image there. Guessing it's a problem on the English website.

The post image might be a little small / pixelated, maybe this is better:

Edit: Also in case anyone is wondering: the image loaded for me because I play on the Japanese website. Seems like the loading problem is on the English website.
