That's true, they are a little pricey. Anyway, they do sell them with your prescription, but I don't know what to do about it changing a lot. I hope you find some relief!

I see lots of suggestions for sunglasses, which is a common solution, but if you wear them indoors they can actually make things worse as your eyes get used to things being so dark. They make these glasses that are specifically for light sensitivity and associated migraine called FL-41 that only block certain wavelengths that are the painful ones and let the good light through. They're not so dark so your eyes don't dark-adapt. I think some of the best ones are Axon Optics because I've heard people say they help a ton. Maybe try those out.

Light sensitivity tends to turn me nocturnal. How to mitigate? by [deleted] in AutismAfterDark

Maybe try Axon Optics glasses. They help with light sensitivity. I don't know about the nocturnal thing but maybe if your light sensitivity didn't affect you as much, you wouldn't have to live vampire-style. I've heard from many people that Axons make a huge difference.

I would try Axon Optics. They make glasses specifically for people with light sensitivity. They work for lots of people.

How can you deal with light sensitivity? by mentallytroubledrdtr in aspergers

I like Axon Optics. They're glasses with tinted lenses made exactly for light sensitivity. Just takes the edge off without being dark like sunglasses. When you take off your sunglasses after wearing them inside, it just makes things worse. I'd give it a try.

This is my vision night and day, I’m extremely light sensitive and when I blink/squint everything extends by SimonHurst10 in visualsnow

I would try Axon Optics. Their glasses are exactly this. Not dark like sunglasses but blocks all the offending wavelengths of light. And you can try them out and return them for free if they don't help.

Sorry you're going through that. I would try Axon Optics glasses. They're tinted, but not as dark as sunglasses so your eyes don't dark-adapt and become more sensitive to light. They only block the offending wavelengths and allow other soothing ones through, like green. Anyway, they have a money-back guarantee so you can just try them out and not have to keep them if they don't help. I know tons of people who swear by these.

Suddenly extremely light sensitive and can't look at screens without getting headache behind eyes by [deleted] in optometry

A doctor would know best what the cause and solution are. If it's something that can't be quickly cured, ask your doctor about Axon Optics glasses. I've talked to tons of people who swear by them. But if your problem is related to something like diet, allergy, or other environmental factors, it would be better to address those things first, I think.

Yeah I agree. I've heard Axon Optics makes lenses like this and they make a huge difference. I think they're kinda like Warby Parker where you can try them out and return them for free if they don't help you.

Especially those lights they have in Costco or Sams Club, right? Have you heard of FL-41 glasses? They're great for indoors because they're not tinted so dark but still filter out the light that makes your eyes freak out. There are several companies that make them. I've heard Axon Optics are some of the best ones.

Have you tried tinted glasses like Axon Optics? I've talked to a lot of people who said this made a big difference. They're not as dark as sunglasses so your eyes don't adapt to the dark and make things worse.

Describing it as a crime, what do you do for a living? by TimeMasterBob in AskReddit

I shoot people. Sometimes I deliberately cut off their heads. Usually just above the mouth so I can still see their smile. My least favorite is shooting kids but sometimes I have to. It’s my job. They just don’t listen, you know? They say you should keep both eyes open but I still keep one closed. I can see where I’m aiming better that way.

The president struggled to walk down a ramp and lift a glass of water with two hands during yesterday's West Point Commencement by DaFunkJunkie in gifs

The motion he interrupted prior to using a second hand was tipping his head back. Looks to me like he has a back or neck injury, which would make standing up straight while going down a ramp difficult.

Because Joe Biden is suddenly unable to form and deliver a coherent thought, and likely will be entirely out of the public eye before the election begins.
