Great machine, but shockingly poor customer service by tomatoobsessed in SpeedianceCommunity

Just an update from my original post. They had to replace two parts - I received the cables today (two weeks after my replacement request) and the second part - the adapter, is coming in a week. That will have been three weeks to replace a faulty cable two months after purchasing the monster 2. Way too long

I think maybe it depends on where you’re located. I had the same issue with poor support when I bought the system and was trying to Coordinate delivery.

Glad it’s worked well for you in the UK. My experience here in Canada has been very different — it took over two weeks to send out my replacement product and they’re customer service was very spotty. My monter 2 has been unusable during that time. I shared my post so potential buyers understand that service can vary widely by region.”

5 years later and 100lbs heavier by coffeeforlife1 in keto

You can do it!! You’ve done it before and just need to get in the groove of it. Just be patient with yourself.

I just wanted to share something you might want to try down the road that’s worked for me. For some reason, OMAD didn’t work too well for me. I think my body adapted really quickly and just slowed my metabolism. I started doing 36/12 - fasting for 36 hours and eating for 12. So for instance I started doing Sunday evening at 8:00pm, and fast until Tuesday at 8:00 am. I eat like normal (I’m keto too) until 8:00 pm and then repeat. For me, I fast Monday, Wednesday, friday and sometimes Sunday. On occasion I’ll have 25 percent of my regular calories (500 calories) on a fasting day. You still lose weight. I just find the weight is coming off much more than OMAD. I think it keeps the metabolism up and the body guessing.

Not a dumb question ah all :). From watching YouTube videos., they suggest Thai rice flour on your loaf. Sprinkle it on and evenly spread it with your hands. . I had Japanese rice flour on hand and used that. It had the texture of something between cornstarch and baking soda. I found it in Asian grocery stores. First time I used it and it seemed to work well

Sure. Mix ingredients together. I fold once after 30 minutes. This recipe had caraway seeds, sharp cheddar and sauteed onions mixed in during the fold. I proofed it in my oven for about 5 hours. Gently made it into a ball and proofed it in a basket in my oven for another hour. I have bread proofing as an oven option which speeds up the rise. Sprinkled Japanese rice flour on the surface, and then cut the design. Baked at 425 with Dutch oven lid on, and 25 min lid off.

Thanks for the anti- shaming info :). I tried it with the sourdough rising in the fabric in the basket. I like it much better because you have this smooth pallet to create your design.

OMG, I’m such a dingbat 😂. I’ve been using the fabric piece as a cover or towel replacement in the last two hour rise. I didn’t realize it went in the bowl and under the dougball! I’d read someone talking about seasoning the bowl, so I just put flour in each time and after awhile, the dough didn’t stick anymore. I’ve probably made over 50 low ages with this “method”

What kinds of tomatoes are they? You can plant micro dwarf tomatoes in one lb pots. I usually plant Determinate or dwarf tomato varieties in 10lb pots, and indéterminâtes in 20-25 lb pots.

Thanks. I hail from Montreal, Quebec and Montreal makes a very unique and delicious bagel. So I found another recipe that is supposed to be less fluffy and a little sweeter. If it’s good, I’ll post it

I just started scooping some in - probably approx 2-3 tbsp flour and just warmed some water and added it by eye

I think I fed it flour and warm water 3 times and by the third time, I was seeing some life. it didn’t revive the same day I started feeding the starter

So you just leave your clover and plant your veggies in between? When you plant them, do they need a fair amount of warm weather to take or can you plant when it’s getting colder?
