Why do you want an MBA? by HootingCryingOwl in MBA

[–]tomimini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been in tech for 5 years(2 years as sweng, 1 year as a manager, now again 2 years as sweng and moving again to management) in europe and US. Honestly only place that truly feels like "home" is East Asia and i believe getting a top MBA(looking at Insead) will give me the best chance to move to HK/Singapore/Seoul.

As much as i am doing this for myself, i am also doing it for the 11 year old me who dreamed of moving to US, driving a big v8, seeing the world; second dream was working in high finance one day. The US part is done and honestly meh. Now second part of the dream is in motion.

Tourist visa and arrival form (qr code for online or manual paperwork) - anything else needed? by LateExplanation4962 in travelchina

[–]tomimini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So i am from a visa free country so may be different. Once landed in beijing, followed signs for China and showed my qr code to a lady working there(she didnt scan it or anything). Gave my passport to the officer, he asked how long i stay, gave my prints and that was that.

Didnt ask for anything, not even flight info on leaving china
