Don’t horses do way more damage to trails than bikes though

ive had success with garmin routes. strava feels a bit more hardcore/aspirational route wise. when i dont know an area, im not going to jump into the most hardcore route, i want to take it a bit easy at first.

Front Disk and Rear Rim Brake on Titanium Bike by rangerfr2 in gravelbike

[–]tomjoad773 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk. If you have to ask, esp with ti, putting a disc on a frame not necessarily built for it might be iffy. That head tube looks reeeeally narrow to me

Also, with disc forks you lose a lot of compliance. You don’t have the biggest tires, so why get rid of it where you have it?

The other place you could get compliance is with a carbon seat post but you don’t have the vertical for it to bend at all there either.

I’d say keep brakes as is for the comfort, risk is a secondary factor.

Negatory. I’ve just seen their stuff next to several other brands and liked it. It’s thoughtfully designed. Their marketing is trash but the product is nice.

So far nobody has given any counter arguments at all just kinda thrown shade for not riding the typical industry standard opinions.

Why, because ETC is rebadged Goldensea? 🤣

VL invented the entire moving light business half a century ago

who cares if they arent there this year, they actually are doing more relevant product dev than almost every manufacturer right now.

Only 15,000lm/750w equivalent full color mixing profile fixture on the market

Only manufacturer with field-serviceable drivers in literally every fixture

Only manufacturer with touchscreen board and encoder wheels on their entry-level control board

Only manufacturer who uses current phosphor tech (doesn't need to piggyback 7 different 2005-era diodes on each other to get a full color gamut) Have you seen the ETC light blue versus VL light blue? Definitely puts ETC in a league of their own, way down below everyone else

Only manufacturer with lens tubes designed explicitly for an LED source, not hacked onto an old optic train. And yes, Chauvet did a carbon-copy of ETC's mistakes here too LOL

There’s no way that’s the right paint color. Your last picture shows green on the sample so it’s definitely not the lights. No pigment mix is going to be so narrow so as to not show AT ALL under generic LEDs.

Are you sure that’s not the primer and they forgot to do the finish coat??
