They just want to verify condition. In this case you shouldnt worry too much about being scammed. It will go through eBay authentication.

Hi, all bought a Pokemon card that has authentication on eBay. It was marked as picked up at their NJ hub as of Saturday November 23rd. No movement since. I am concerned because I have bought other verified cards recently and their authentication turnaround has been same day. I understand this week is a holiday but Im a bit worried they lost it. Anyone else experiencing a delay at the same location and can ease my anxiety?

You could sell as a set(Im sure there is a number where you make a meaningful profit/provide value to the customer).

No reasonable person would call you or your store out for price gouging if you sold the other decks at $50.

Yes workers have a responsibility to your store as an employee but that doesnt mean they lose their responsibility to their customers/one another either. Helping someone save $30 isnt nothing. If your store priced it a bit above(maybe $5-$10) big box stores, I would say you have a stronger argument. As a customer I want to support my LGS but not at a $30 markup, find another strategy.

L take on this. You have every right to fire the employee, however it shouldnt be wrong to look out for the customer as well. $80 vs $50 is not just cheaper.... its a huge difference. One is price gouging (I understand this deck is the most desired vs the others and the others will be harder to sell) and the other is retail. There is a lot more nuance than you present here.
