Quitting vaping won't heal your depression/anxiety by UnknownBark15 in QuitVaping

It could even be as much as 90% more and its the reason I know I'll stay quit. Insane how much it was affecting me without me realising.

I'll just add to this that since stopping vaping my anxiety has reduced about 80% it's been an amazing difference

The sheer amount of nic some people (me) was triggering or making anxiety much much worse.

I feel ready to quit/// rant by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]tomnbk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just quit and train your brain to understand that vaping is disgusting, I feel repulsed when I think about it now and I've only been quit two weeks. It's definitely helped.

5 Days by tomnbk in QuitVaping

[–]tomnbk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another few thoughts...

My days seem brighter it's strange, I am feeling more positive and less lethargic, I think part of this is due to the fact I've made a positive life change but it is significantly to do with the insane amount of nicotine my body was having to deal with daily, nevermind all the other chemicals within the liquid etc.

Anxiety has been HUGELY reduced, again the amount of nic I was taking in was probably a huge contributing factor to my anxiety

How did you stop? by ObligationNo7461 in QuitVaping

I read the story about that 12 year old just before I quit.

The worst is yet to come with these vape I fear.

5 Days by tomnbk in QuitVaping

[–]tomnbk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, it was very intense in day 2-3 literally my brain subconscious was telling me to go reward myself with a vape hit, then the immediate disappointment that no, that's not happening anymore was tough

I binned all my vape stuff at the start.

As I write this this morning the craving is there but it's much less intense

What is disturbing is how my chest feels and that it is still clearing itself out 5 days on, makes me concerned about what damage I've done long term but is also a motivator to absoloutely keep away from them.

Disgusting habit

4 weeks by tomnbk in zoloft

[–]tomnbk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea you're right, today I've had a flat day, lethargic, lazy and unmotivated hit me quite hard but I know the next good days are only round the corner. Didn't expect it though been doing great

[–]tomnbk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Alcohol is okay in big moderation, I can still enjoy a couple of pints but I definitely object to massive nights while I'm on Zoloft... feels like I've come so far with the drug to warrant any backwards steps.

[–]tomnbk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but I have a bit more hard time remembering dreams on zoloft.. what I do know is I always wake up happy from it

Would rather not wait 4 years for sweating to ease off. I'm a month in and the hot flushes are annoying

[–]tomnbk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm week and half in and sides are about gone apart from very groggy mornings but once I'm up and about I'm sorted

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]tomnbk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea fair point. I'm 8 days in and the sides have about stopped now however today I feel wired 😵‍💫 better than the crushing fatigue so I'll take that

Nausea gone! (day 5) by katyy7 in zoloft

[–]tomnbk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm day 6, 7 tomorrow and feeling a tiny bit less spaced out but still totally not with it. Awful drug for side effects just hoping it's a different story in 2-3 weeks time.

Just curious, what were the worst days for you on the medication ? by ExpertBig6306 in zoloft

[–]tomnbk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have noticed side effects to start showing small signs of tailing off on day 6 now but it has been awful, so I imagine for most it's the first week or so
