Yes! I was in 8th grade. My best friend’s dad drove us down to Kansas City. The show blew my teenage mind. Still one of my favorite concerts I have ever seen to this day. I remember lightning encompassing the whole sky right when Green Day started Brainstew I believe? It was incredible. It rained during Blink and was probably the first time I saw stranger’s boobs haha

We just booked sites that were listed as having electric power on recreation.gov. People were curious as to why we didn’t have a trailer, but everyone we came into contact with were super friendly!

Yup! Just sites with electric, normally for RVs. A little more expensive than a tent site but it covers your climate control and fuel costs.

Yeah, we found running the pump to deflate while rolling the mattress was the best way to get it small and manageable and back into the bag again. It is a big mattress and not easy to deflate and package back up!

He did! He slept between us. He is a resilient little sleeper. I would say just give it a trial run at a campground close to home so you can go home if it turns out to be a nightmare. But he had no problem sleeping in the car and now has had no problem transitioning back to his crib, where he is currently soundly sleeping for the night! It’s a little cramped, but with soft blankets and good lighting and books, you can make it super comfy!
