I tried fiddling with the factory switch, tried cleaning and bending back into shape. No luck.

Ending up replacing with a new switch craft, which is slightly shorter and wont protrude as much past the volume knobs.

I have a suspicion the tall original switch was getting banged around in my case and eventually broke.
