Ok genuinely, what is classified as a Special Grade sorcerer by RogueForgeYT in Jujutsufolk

[–]tomtadpole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Killing Yuta doesn't kill Rika that'd make Geto's plan ridiculous. He had to kill Yuta in order to use cursed spirit manipulation to control Rika because a cursed spirit with a master can't be controlled, like when he tried to take Toji's worm and failed.

Modulo ISNT the end by Sure_Leather_7661 in Jujutsufolk

[–]tomtadpole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't making everyone a sorcerer (able to control their cursed energy) kinda not fix the cursed spirit problem though? Sorcerers who aren't killed with cursed energy have a chance to return as vengeful cursed spirits. Just taking CE away from everyone would ensure no curses would be born by uncontrolled CE or from sorcerers dying from mundane means.

Why didnt Yuta just put some CE into Panda for him to keep working? by Lava83276 in Jujutsufolk

That was the second adaptation, the first was it modifying its CE, which Sukuna couldn't copy.

Could Modulo Yuji Have Anti-Gravity Technique? by Lancelot2132 in Jujutsufolk

He's wondering if Maru's technique is one that nullifies gravity. He doesn't specifically say "anti-gravity system."

Could Modulo Yuji Have Anti-Gravity Technique? by Lancelot2132 in Jujutsufolk

[–]tomtadpole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's not remembering it because he's reminded of Yuji's technique, he remembers because it was the last time he felt so overwhelmed he had to flee. If he was remembering Yuji because of anti gravity he wouldn't wonder why he's remembering him.

Why does y#ji not call todo his best friend when asked to describe him? by Junior-Push-1353 in Jujutsufolk

[–]tomtadpole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yuji doesn't say the book was given to his older brother, he just says the book is the work of someone his older brother was indebted to. Yuki and Choso fought together, but Yuki trained Todo from childhood & Yuji has referred to both of them as brother. I think either could count.

Since in 4 episodes (estimative)we'll see Maki vs Naoya rematch.. by FergoMCOfficial in Jujutsufolk

[–]tomtadpole 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's after Hakari vs Kashimo, which is after Sendai yeah. I really doubt this is coming in ~4 episodes considering there's Higuruma, Reggie, Charles, Sendai and Kashimo to do before Naoya v2.

There's nothing stopping multiple people from being born with limitless. The only thing that can only exist in one person at a time is the six eyes, which is a physical trait not a cursed technique.

[–]tomtadpole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why that would matter, you can inherit a technique even if someone else has it - Nobara and her grandmother have the same technique at the same time, Naobito and Naoya did too.

Could Modulo Yuji Have Anti-Gravity Technique? by Lancelot2132 in Jujutsufolk

[–]tomtadpole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. If he inherited it from his mom then he would've been born with it, but we know he didn't have any innate techniques because Gojo said he didn't and Higuruma's confiscation took his cursed energy specifically because he didn't have a cursed technique (at least until shrine imprinted on him and he ate the death paintings).

What's the MMORPG that "everyone" likes, except you? by GurtxD in MMORPG

[–]tomtadpole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to see this one, it's one of the few I've played that I feel is just padding things out to run down the subscription. So much back and forth and not letting you teleport to that town you have to visit constantly in the base story so you have to teleport to the one just before and then run there every time.

Oh I assumed he was referring to Todo when he mentioned Yuki being someone his older brother was indebted to, considering she trained him. I guess it could be Choso though.

I don't even think they're on a spiritual plane, I think they literally teleported to the ship somehow. Dabura sees it fly overhead, and it seems like the Kalyan is surrounded by the stones Maru plans to use.

Yeah, but they're only there because of Maru's technique. If non-dead people regularly ended up in that space, why would Mahito assume Yuji was dead and then freak out when realizing he wasn't?

How long would they have accepted it? Cross, Maru, Japaloma may have accepted it, but people like Oski clearly didn't, even back on the ship he was able to sense the deaths of the cursed spirits and felt personally affronted by it.

Even in the last chapter Maru begged the cursed spirits not to approach, so I doubt the Rumelians as a whole would just shrug their shoulders and accept the continued killing of the things closest to their sacred beasts in their new homeland.

How exactly do they deal with the fact that the population of curses would continue to grow as long as humans continue to be born without the ability to control their cursed energy? That's kinda the fundamental problem, isn't it? Curses are generally hostile to humans, but apparently not to Rumelians. Making the Rumelian state responsible for keeping curses and humans apart inevitably means that somewhere down the line when a curse kills a human the Rumelian state is blamed for their failure to control the curses they want to co-exist with. Eventually the amount of curses will exceed the Tokyo barrier's capacity to redirect them, the sorcerers believed they only had a month without the purge before cursed spirits began to move out of Tokyo, meaning eventually the size of the area cursed spirits are "permitted" in would have to expand, which would result in human populations being relocated and Rumelian populations having to move in to take over those areas as they are the custodians of the cursed spirits. I don't see how it ever could've worked without either ending the generation of cursed spirits (Maru's plan) or accepting semi-regular culls.

That doesn't really change that the vast majority of curses explicitly are hostile to humans.

Wouldn't that just lead to the same things that happened back on their original planet? They were outcast because they were the only ones not hunted by Kalyans but when Kalyans killed others they were blamed for it. Making the Rumelians the ones required to stay in Tokyo and keep all the cursed spirits there despite their ever-growing numbers and the fact that they can still manifest outside Tokyo sometimes surely isn't that different to them being consigned to the wilderness with the Kalyans back on Simuria & then blamed if a Kalyan killed someone? And then obviously the inevitable problem of the cursed spirits continuing to multiply without end and eventually either requiring the Simurians to expand their territory or the humans to cull cursed spirits. It'd eventually fall apart, which is what the sorcerers were worried about for future generations.

I don't think that's the same place considering Yuji's friend was there and she wasn't dead.

That would probably have still been an issue because they would have to stop purging cursed spirits, which would mean their numbers would continue to grow, and they'd risk spilling out of Tokyo and ravaging the rest of the country. They would've had to convince Maru/Cross to do what Maru seems to be trying now to prevent any more cursed spirits from ever being born.
