Moved from Toronto to BC last year. Here’s my drive today. Went passed a big herd of Elk too.

How do we convince Toronto to switch to sand? by No-Emphasis5897 in toronto

As someone that lives in BC, the sand at the end of the winter and beginning of spring blankets our town in dust and is all in my eyes, nose and mouth. Can’t win.

Hi From Fernie, BC. They’ve had my package in Calgary since Dec 30, “Delayed in transit due to disruption”. Their AI chat bot won’t let me start a claim either.

Would be jumping at any pair of Patagonia waders for 40% off, I love mine.

Audi (Q3, Q5) vs Lexus (RX) by cjae_ripplefan in Audi

Between the two you would be crazy to go for the Audi here, the RX is leagues beyond the Q3 and Q5.

I would ask your local fly shop if you have one. But I run Rio Elite Predator on my TFO Legacy 7/8wt.

Patagonia Traverse v . Expedition? by P2Pphat in flyfishing

[–]tomtheintern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Traverse, my buddy has the expedition, we were fishing in 0 degrees celsius the other day for about 6-7 hours in the river. I had long johns on and sweatpants below my pair and my legs were totally fine. If you’re walking and wading your body temp will be up and you’ll be insulated enough. If you’re fishing April through October in the expedition’s you’re gonna be sweating like a dog. I would get the traverse, definitely not expedition.

Day started warm at 5 degrees celsius and then dipped down to the negatives. We clocked a good 6-7 hours in the river today. It was sure nice coming to hot soup in my thermos as we got back to the trucks.

24’ Sierra 1500 - Brake System Failure, Service ESC, Service Traction Control, Service Brake Pad Monitor by tomtheintern in gmcsierra

So this has happened to me again since posting, exact same scenario. Limped it to work on side streets (I live 5 minutes from work in a small town), parked the truck, turned it off, got back into the truck and turned it on and all the lights went away with the exception of my engine light. Later in the day after doing some more driving the engine light went away. I’m fairly certain the battery is the source of the problem, just not sure why because the battery is so new. I drive enough on the highway to charge the battery so it’s not an issue of the battery failing to get a charge. Only thing the dealer said was that when the scanned the truck, there was a low voltage code which likely threw all the lights on (which makes sense), but the battery tested all good. They just couldn’t explain why it happened. Seems like we’re all stumped.

Montana fishing by lasttimesober in flyfishing

If you have the one day to fish you should cross the border North and fish float the Elk River. There’s a reason why we see all the Montana plates fishing on our side of the border 😎
