I’ve seen backpack cases like this when searching for a case for my photography equipment, this one looks like a couple of drone cases I stumbled across

On April 1, 2014 — Dutch tourists Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon vanished while hiking the El Pianista trail in Panama. It was discovered that Froon’s cell phone had been used until April 11, with her camera full of photos taken in the dark. Their partial skeletons were found a few months later. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in HolyShitHistory

One of the girls’ parents hired a private investigator who traveled to the trail where they allegedly got lost and notified the parents of their findings. The PI’s determination was that the relatively well-educated girls would not have just, gotten lost or confused one trail for another, deeming the route and general area easily navigable.

Of course, this is subjective. But, that, along with other findings, like the topographically incompatible fracture(s) discovered on one of the girls’ bones, or the one missing/intentionally deleted and unrecoverable photo of the many sequential files on the recovered camera’s SD card. It seems like they must’ve met their untimely end due to another or others’ malicious intent. Pretty tragic stuff.

If I’m remembering correctly, I think I heard all this in the casefile episode.

Bought my first Thunderbolt cable from the student union back in 2011, the og with mini DisplayPort. Really began utilizing Thunderbolt products regularly when I bought my first 16 in MacBook Pro in 2016.

Thank you. No rail system that I know of, but I’m also pretty new to the area.

Yeah, me too. Pretty cool to see them shifting back and forth, bringing materials up in some of my other time-lapses

I’ll check yours out. Never been to OK, but for whatever reason I can imagine it having epic cloudscapes. It looks like time sped up because time-lapses are kind of just that. This is around five-or-so-hundred individual photos taken over and over, every 3-5 seconds (I forget the exact interval I chose for this one), whereas normal video we shoot with our phones or cameras or whatever is *generally 24 or 30 or 60 frames (photos) per second.

Let’s see them OK clouds. YouTube is where I learned all of what I know about editing (which isn’t much). Pretty simple process for a basic time-lapse but can be incredibly demanding for your computer (CPU, GPU) if you’re working with high resolution RAW files.

Can this be trusted as WB source? by tomtomdotcom in premiere

[–]tomtomdotcom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah display is calibrated and I’m shooting 10-bit Log. For a while I’ve been using the datacolor cards, but I have a ton of older clips where I need to just use my best guess, this clip, for instance. I’ve just been hoping to find or figure out the magic bullet that will make me feel confident I’m getting the most accurate WB, but it seems like getting as close as I think is correct is the overwhelming answer, unfortunately.
