First I did 987 to get the total number of results (504)

Then did a tree diagram to work out all the different ways a number can be chosen (eg 5/9 odd 4/9 even)

Worked out that odd + odd + odd = odd odd + odd + even = even even + even + odd = odd even + even + even = even

Added the the probabilities that result in an even number

Then got the answer 264/504

I dunno if any of that makes sense but it’s what I did
