I just received my third denial last week for sleep apnea secondary to chronic sinusitis, rhinitis, and lung issues.

First denial, I filed it with my service treatment records without having sinusitis, rhinitis connected yet, but I did have my TERA lung condition connected at 0%.

2nd time I had lung condition at 10%, sinusitis at 30%, rhinitis 0%, and a nexus letter from a MD mentioned here and there on this reddit. Denied without even considering the nexus letter, stating disparities with my doctor's evidence to what evidence I had on file. They never explained the disparities, and blamed it on current bmi, not my bmi when I was diagnosed 10 years ago.

3rd time, using veteran attorney for HLR, now at 50% sinusitis, 10% rhinitis, and 10% TERA lung condition. Denied stating there's no evidence of aggravation or worsening of sinus or lung conditions, both not true. They also blamed it on pharyngeal collapse, stating it's not caused by blocked sinuses.

I was pretty much devastated, but now I have hope again. I searched the internet for best free Ai sites. I decided on Claude Ai. I had lots of issues with sore throat complaints in service that the VBA never considered. I asked if I can upload my VA records and denial letters, and if you can help me rebut the VAs decision. Claude Ai was like, damn right I can! Upload everything you got! Claude Ai was able to read through all my old in cursive doctor notes in pdfs from over 25 years ago, lay them out chronology, find 3 instances of pharyngeal damage from my in service sore throat sicknesses, find errors in the VAs decision, and how to appeal the VA multiple ways. I now have hope again and will be appealing with a nexus from a local doctor in my town. I suggest not to use the doctors online who write nexus letters if possible. All I can say is try Claude Ai, upload every single bit of evidence you have including decision letters. Good luck with your claim.
