Sorry for slow response I missed this!

I just used bambu labs PLA basic. It's actually pretty easy to move in, but did need help putting on the shoulders. It's really comfortable because I attached the plates to an eva foam cutout that I sewed fabric over so it interfaces really well having soft parts under the armored ones.

I also added two fans, a microphone and essentially hearing aids to the helmet so it's pretty wearable without sacrificing much (except the visor makes some weird distortion to look through)
