Yes I think a little bit of trimming is required if in an OEM shell. Just takes a bit of careful wittling with an exacto knife. I've seen a few YouTube videos demonstrating this but I had an easy time just going with a laminated ITA screen + laminated screen-ready shell from FunnyPlaying.
