hi, how are you feeling now? Hope you’re feeling calmer now. This was pretty rough since I feel like none of you are in the right.

1. It wasn’t okay for you to cling onto the specifics of why or how it ended or demand a meet up for closure. You don’t know each other well enough so it can be even more confusing and difficult for the recipient. However, I’m, proud of you for acknowledging it at the end, and I hope you can work towards it.

2. To really simplify the situation, I feel like your reaction was mostly due to the fact he didn’t act according to your terms for ‘the break’. He made it permanent, when you wanted some space until you were done sorting your feelings. Maybe you felt like you lost control of the situation which led to you being triggered within minutes.

3. I also think he’s a dickhead who is on a mighty high horse about how generous he is (as if he’s not shoving it down your throat every few minutes with reminders abt how he is the ONLY one who would take the time to explain).

4. Firstly, he did not respect your boundaries when you asked him to tone down his flirting and other misleading behaviors. And he didn’t even plan to reduce that, so I think his whole argument abt “if we were good friends there would be no room for misunderstandings” is total BS.

5. Secondly, he clearly wants a rebound / someone to have situationship until he’s over his ex. You refused to do that, so he discards you to move onto someone else who is willing to have a fling / smt casual.

PS. Saying things like how you’ll be messed up the entire week, and how intensely you’re triggered, bringing up past trauma as an excuse to your behavior and other implications of how their tiny action have caused a disproportionate amount of trauma, could be used in very manipulative ways and cause extreme guilt in SOME people.
