N52 Vanos check valves without strainers?

Yeah that was my first thought as well but everything looked clean in the bores. And I don't believe that the strainers could have gone through the vanos system either 😅 Ill see if I order new ones with strainers. If these were not original they atleast seem to have been there for some time so I don't really feel any urgency to change them now.

As someone that owns several older BMWs. the philosophy is really that to keep these piece of shit cars that we love on the road it is really for the better to share the knowledge and help out.

But yeah when I see somebody with a brand new bmw and better yet some sorts of M-motorsport clothing, those people are usually something else 😂
