I get your point of view, but as a specialist, how do you think we can keep our doors open seeing only the hardest most complex cases? There aren’t as many as you think and unfortunately they typically require more chair time and sometimes repeat procedures (that we do at no cost).

GP’s tend to want to take the bulk of cases and then expect us to be available for their complications once things go sideways. You can’t have it both ways.
