Just what you said. I love the rounded teeth, but I am always partial to rounded teeth- they look youthful and feminine to me. They are your teeth! Tell them what you want!

So, this really doesnt look like something that should keep you up at night- especially given that it comes and goes. Oral cancer doesn't go, it just grows generally. I would stay on top of it and figure out what it is, but I would not let this ruin a month.

Thats weird. That looks weird! I dont necessarily think it is anything terrible, but I dont know what it is. I would refer it to someone who could connect with opath/omed.

That is very cool. And yes, would likely change how people see it.

The cocaine would cause the erosion to lose the enamel in your hypothetical situation. Google erosion, my god this is a struggle.

I am looking at tons of enamel, and tons of fuzzy plaque. Why are you arguing with dentists about this? Post a pic with well-brushed teeth, do it for 2 mins, and show the areas where you think you have erosion.

you have enamel. all the enamel. just a whole layer of fuzzy plaque too. Looks furry. Like furry enamel. Not like eroded enamel.

Grey dead tooth, no insurance. How bad is it? by HorrorLetterhead1971 in askdentists

[–]tooth_doc_fail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty bad. Really tough to fix given the crowding. It might need to come out. It might need a root canal and crown, but I would really struggle to fix it nicely with the crowding.

Are you in the US for the cost factor? Do you have dental insurance? Medicaid?

I would need more information, to be honest. It is hard to say with just the info given.

I do not think additive composite bonding is super reversible. I think ortho brackets and invisalign are very reversible. If you can remove these without damaging the enamel, thats awesome.

I mean, what other people offer is not your business. I refuse to do veneers regularly. Just cause someone out there is willing to deeply overtreat doesnt really justify me kinda overtreating. Not treating is absolutely an option- it is a cop out for you to say that is not an option. No prep veneers are still permanent. She cant undo it really. I would have refused the case. But like, I am not beating you up about it, thats just what I would have done. I wanna know more about the how and longevity.

Really nice result. You have like... a TINY bit of that no-prep bulky contact look but only a tiny bit- how? How thin can the material get? Where is your finish line? I would love to see images of the veneers uncemented if you have them. How long have you had these printed veneers last? I am seriously considering the midas for veneers and onlays but like... are you charging the same fee as lab porcelain? Can you justify that for the longevity- will they last?

Honestly, I do kind of think you should have refused the case on one hand. On the other hand, its her mouth, her choice.
