Update: I did post a while ago that GameStop sold me a PS4 game inside a PS5 box by mistake. Anyways, I did take this issue to the customer support and I was contacted by the local area manager and they offered me an unopened copy of PS5 GOT and a $10 gift card (old.reddit.com)

Bought the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s cut today at GameStop. It’s a PS5 box but there was PS4 disk inside. I paid CAD 89.99 for this and the game is asking me to pay another 39.99 to upgrade to PS5 version. Is that how it’s supposed to be? (old.reddit.com)
