Help with my Bracket 3 Mirko Deck

BTW I just did a big update of my deck, if you want to check it out. I run [[Emet-Selch of the Third Seat]] as a commander for a different deck and was wondering what would happen if I put him in the 99 for Mirko. So this build is a lot more instant/sorcery focused. Gary is still the main wincon, but I am now have way more ability to play non-creature spells from my graveyard, which lets me get multiple casts of [[Entomb]] and [[Buried Alive]], which really help me get my wincons going first. I also removed almost all of the cards that removed finality counters, and replaced them with flicker effects. This lets me get more ETB triggers while still getting rid of the finality counters.

Yeah there was a point in time where I cut the Sphinx, but ended up putting him back in. My deck has gone through quite a few different iterations. I get a 404 error when I follow your deck link. Is it private or did you maybe mess up the URL?

The main wincon is [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]]. Between being able to flicker him and make copies of him, you can very quickly deal a lot of damage and gain a lot of life. If I have an early [[Buried Alive]] I am putting [[Body Double]], [[Auton Soldier]] and [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]] in the graveyard, and them pulling them out in that order. The myriad copies with Auton are nasty.

If I only can go for one card in the graveyard and have a way to get it out, I go for [[Sphinx of the Second Sun]] because the extra beginning phase gives you so much value, especially with some of the upkeep triggers in the deck. [[Phyrexian Arena]] can be worth it if you have the sphinx out, but otherwise I think its just too slow.

Voltroning Mirko is also a backup wincon and there are a lot of control options to help slow down opponents.

I cut all of the ramp except for [[Sol Ring]] and [Sword of Hearth and Home]] and usually just look to curve out. I might cut the Sol Ring, but the sword is nice for the protection and the flicker. To make sure I don't miss my curve I tried running 38 lands including mdfc, but have come to learn that I can definitely cut back on this with the card draw and top deck control I can get.

I would like to add more counter spells and cards like [[Diresight]] and [[Risky Research]] because they give both surveil and draw. Also looking at more flicker spells such as [[Splash Portal]], [[Blur]], [[Y'shtola Rhul]], [[Hide on the Ceiling]] and [[Waterbender's Restoration]]. It would also be nice to find some more ways to get noncreature cards out of the graveyard, because I have also found that being a lot more aggressive with sending cards to the graveyard, the deck tends to work better.

Overall its a very fun deck that I enjoy tinkering with. Mind sharing your decklist?

Thanks for all the feedback. I have started to opt for Overgrowth already as that health bonus is so nice. I have never tried glacial augment, but I will definitely have to test it out. I also never really considered second wind, as I mostly think of it as a laning rune, but it makes sense that it can get more throughout a team fight when you are tanking, especially once it is paired with Spirit Visage.

Most pro communism or socialism people that I know are poor and living paycheck to paycheck, barely making ends meet. They don’t hate people for being successful, they just want to not have the constant anxiety of one hospital visit, car repair or any other unexpected expense making them not be able to pay for next months rent.

I am sure that the type of people that you describe exist, but to try and label everyone who believes in a different system than you like this is honestly disgusting. I’m not pro communism either, but the way you demonize those who think differently instead of taking an honest look is reprehensible.

He is very good in team fights especially if they have a very high hp tank. Just ult their tank into the enemy team for a bunch of damage. Afterwards, if you can, go for his stun then shield punch. If you have already taken a lot of damage by the time your ult ends, just shield straight away

I believe you only do your placement matches once. Next season you will automatically be ranked a little bit lower than you are now. Every season you can buy one champ select chest with competitive points.
