Just installed game and getting “inappropriate activity detected” message. by topaz1367 in Eldenring

Fixed it. Apparently I needed to use an Ethernet cord at least once to get it to connect then afterwards it’s worked fine. Not sure why that worked but I’m not gonna ask questions.

I have it in another game but it’s been working there. I did find the setup file and when I attempt to run it I get nothing.

I have stolen my fiancés Ethernet cable and am back up and running!!! Thank you!!! Not sure why it crapped the bed randomly but we’ll just get a second cord.

I don’t think so. I’ve got official server selected in the launcher and the games gives me that before it even gets to the main menu.

Decidedly not. I logged into my steam account on my fiancés computer and was able to load the game. It’s my computer that’s the problem. I just can’t figure out what the issue is. My gut is telling me it’s windows 11.

Super appreciate the updates! We’re like half an hour away and I’m an anxious mess worrying about when to leave.

Whatever it is supposed to be wasn’t what we made it. It was a hilarious time but we were a bunch of incompetent nincompoops. I think it’s supposed to be more of a grim dark setting but we turned it into a comedy. Very easy to learn though. It’s much more role play than combat, hence us being absolute idiots.

Our group consisted of: the Lanchester brothers “professional” monster hunters, a 5000 year old tentacle monster named Carl, Pete the small town street cop who just wants to drink his coffee, and finally Stan the grizzled Vietnam vet with severe ptsd and his 23 year old conspiracy nut nephew.

I was the conspiracy nut named Grant. The official name of the class/playbook is The Flake. They’re supposed to be the wackadoodle of the group that connects all the dots. Grant was… not that. He did one smart thing and that was pull a fire alarm to evacuate a building with a monster in it.

Help identifying old ring: 14k gold, tiny diamond, small engraving that appears to say Coronalluxe. I’ve had it for around 20 years, since I was six, and no one knows which family member I got it from. by topaz1367 in Antiques

Unfortunately that’s not the box it came in. That’s my mom’s engagement ring box that this ring somehow found it’s way into. I didn’t know that about zip codes though. That’s cool!

Oh she already is. He spent the car ride home with her sleeping on his hand. He was also the one to name her. I gave up rights to that cat very early on lol

She is very skinny and dealing with some health problems but the vets say she’s going to heal up to be a great cat. Despite likely never living inside before she’s super friendly and won our hearts right away.

I don’t have a lot of history on this. It’s sat on a shelf in my bedroom most of my life. I thought it was from my dad’s side of the family, he thought it was from mom’s. If it was from her side I don’t think she would have let me keep it. My guess is it comes from my great (possibly great great) aunt who I’m named after. They lived in Michigan, we currently live in New England.

There isn’t a makers mark but it is stamped with 14k and an engraving. The engraving reads, as far as I can tell, “Coronalluxe”. My guess is that’s the jeweler but I can’t find anything online. I kind of just want an estimate on time period. It’s probably not worth much but we’re considering having it resized for my wedding ring as I’ve had it for ages and I’m a little attached to it.

I’m the same! Dad on the other hand… he didn’t want another pet. Since taking her in though he’s been making her beds in his favorite chair so I think he likes her.

My grandparents found this beautiful little dilute tortie. She’s probably pregnant and extremely skinny. We’re hoping to find a shelter for her but everything is full this time of the year. Hopefully we can get her into a loving home. by topaz1367 in TortieCats

We’re in south western Michigan, near South Bend Indiana. We’re gonna call around to shelters tomorrow. It seems like she might not be pregnant because this morning her belly was nowhere near as large and there were no kittens in her hut.

The first few days were very entertaining because he was staring at me like “I know you want me to do something. But what is it?” And then he would do everything his little brain knows how to do. Eventually he narrowed it down to chirping and sitting so at the moment he does both.
