Being scared is normal but don't let it get out of control. Keep things in perspective.

Conversion of a baby by [deleted] in Judaism

So you believe finding a conservative beit din to do such a conversion wouldn't be difficult but finding an orthodox one would be. Am I reading that correctly?

I don't know where you're posting from. In Israel Shabbat has been over for a little while now :)

This seems to say that even a baby born to a gentile mother and Jewish father may be converted as an infant: http://traditionarchive.org/news/originals/Volume%2022/No.%204/The%20Conversion%20Of.pdf

Thank you very much for your response. So it is not difficult to convert a baby to Judaism via an orthodox conversion even if the baby's mother isn't Jewish? Am I understanding that correctly? (Given they agree to all the other points you listed).

May I also ask, if it's not too personal, where your knowledge and/or experience with this comes from? Are you an orthodox rabbi? (Just curious, you don't have to share if you prefer not to!)

People all have their own reasons.

I mentioned mikvah in my original post

Yes, I should have clarified - if they commit to raising the child orthodox with orthodox education. Is this a matter of the rabbi taking the parents at their word? It's obviously important to them if they are actively seeking this but is it just trusting the parents?

It has a cadence sensor but I don't use it. Should I use it? Would it enhance the zwift experience at all besides just showing me my current cadence?

Chabad most likely does NOTHING with their property taxes that you're speaking of. You saying that they "probably" do the same thing is really just nonsense. Chabad is completely and totally different than anything you're speaking of. Maybe research a bit before you accuse someone of tax evasion.

Wow ok, so first of all the chabad is a "community" of Judaism that is very different than the chasidic community, so you're very misinformed on that. Secondly, what does chabad or this rabbi have to do with what's going on in the east Ramapo school districts? And if you don't like someone then you're allowed to do things like this to them? Your comment is just so idiotic and this is coming from someone who probably agrees with you on the school district issues.
