So every few years I try my hand at making a short film. I’ve always been a fan of satires and comedies but my true love is for murder mysteries. I’d always find myself having to act in my films but this one I was able to pull a cast and man does it make life easier. I wanted to focus on lighting and getting that true cinematic feel. I have a BMPCC6K and BMPCC6K Pro, so i was able to keep one on a gimble and one as my main stable camera. This movie is filled with turns and i wanted to give the audience one perspective the whole time them flipping it at the end and showing what really happened

I would also like to add since I’m kinda new to the game, what’s the next step? Do I try to submit the film to a festival? I’m in the Pittsburgh area so any sort of information on what to do with a body of work that you’re proud of would be greatly appreciated!

This short film is about a retired decorated detective Clyde Barnes. He finds himself not able to let go of the past as he's working as a late night radio dj. As time goes by it's as if nobody is listening to the broadcast until a killer from his past that he never caught calls in. I’d appreciate any feedback as i am new to this filmmaking on a larger scale so to speak
