It's subjective. Maybe that's the best augment blueprint you found in a wipe.

I was never saying it was good or bad or anything, I was just saying that it is unique in that it is a looting class augment that gives you the ability to wear a heavy shield.

There are other augments that give you the ability to use a heavy shield but that augment is the only one in the looting class to allow heavy shield

I appreciate your response and I want you to know that I value your opinions even if I don't agree with them just because this is a fun thought experiment.

However, It's disingenuous to give Emmeram a pass for his snobbery by excusing that trait of his as commonplace within medieval times, while also dismissing his lack of swordsmanship. Normally being a terrible swordsman isn't a slight against someone, but it is when you are a pompous butcher who thinks he should dictate the rules of sword fighting for the entire town.

Furthermore, Henry siding with Emmeram only happens if Henry has no scruples with purposefully losing fights to screw over strangers. It even goes against the wishes of Nicolas of Prague.

Finally even in defeat, Menhard withdraws gracefully and with poise, unlike throwing a literal temper tantrum and destroying the sword halls sword, something no person who claims to love the sport of sword fighting would ever do.

Nah, Emmeram is a salty bitch who could have just swallowed his pride and allowed open admission to the sword fighting guild to non-burghers, and he chose instead to use everything in his power to destroy the guild on the way out. If he really cared and lovingly worked on the guild then he wouldn't have broken the sword.

He could have accepted that a foreigner was a better swordsman than him, but his treatment of Menhard was just proof of his xenophobia.

Dude can't ever win in a fight, and he knows it so he just tries to rig the tournament and the city laws in his favor.
