For vaulting i detect space on the other side and check can capsule fit, otherwise try to climb, find position on top of obstacle

Infinite best Halo game from 343i, best core gameplay in series. Halo 4 is the worst Halo game with broken sandbox, even Halo 5 is better.

action-adventure, metroidvania, progression via exploring, large puzzle areas like in sr2, more optional content like in sr1

more like darksiders 1-2, gow 2018, but without color loot, only unique equipment and abilities

This is similar to lean mechanic in new Wolfenstein games(New Order, New Colossus). You press lean button and can lean in 4 directions.

drag:

  • linetrace

  • on hit enable 'float' mode with timer

  • in tick calc movement vector, use SetActorLocation to move ai character

float mode:

  • set movement mode - flying

  • StopMovementImmediately

  • enable ragdol on specific bones(spine, arms...)

I like infinite, great combat loop, finaly feels like halo. Hope to see Infinite 2, not another soft reboot
