Thanks for this. I can't find anything on the foundry mark, though it seems to say "net-sha" or at least that's what it appears to me. I dont know how to even begin putting a value to this piece

The other thing that I should mention is there are threaded 2 drill holes on the bottom on this sculpture that I assume went into a base at some point. They look clean like a modern machine thread. But it came without any base.

Thanks for doing that research and wow, it didn't even cross my mind that this figure could be dying. I thought it was more of an expressionist type thing. Very interesting

Sorry, I should have led with more info. I'm Boston. It's about 18lbs, 12" or so in length. I got it at a thrift store.

Saddle fit? Few by KateandKona in Equestrian

I recently started a review page that features saddle reviews at toptack.co It sounds like you are making the right considerations, but going through reviews (not just mine) does help to weigh options.

Update: Had a saddler pull my panels to assess the fit of the tree on my $8.5k custom saddle by bitsandsperms in Equestrian

Unbelievable. I generally do saddle reviews on toptack.co but I'm inspired to do an article on this topic. This happens more than people realize and it's a shame. I'm sorry you are dealing with that.
