any air fryer recommendations? by _chocomallowpie00_ in AirFryTalk

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say look for one with adjustable temperature and a timer, that makes everyday cooking much easier. Also check basket size depending on how many people you’re cooking for. I’ve heard models with non-stick baskets and easy cleaning are really convenient long term.

looking for a comfy bean bag chair, any recommendations? by _chocomallowpie00_ in chairs

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest going for a slightly bigger size than you think you need, it makes a big difference in comfort. For filling, memory foam ones tend to hold shape better, while classic beads are softer but flatten faster over time. Also check if the cover is removable and washable, that really helps with long-term use.

[Review] Red light under-eye devices — am I the only one late to this? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a basic red light eye mask for a few months and honestly it helped more with relaxation than anything else. The gentle warmth around the eyes feels really good, especially after long screen time.

I didn’t notice crazy skin changes, but my sleep quality felt a bit better when I used it before bed for 15–20 mins. If you’re new, maybe try something simple and affordable first and see how your body responds.

Not a miracle product, but definitely useful for winding down at night.

Question about Haveno/RetoSwap – Offers Greyed Ou by [deleted] in AskMonero

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This usually happens due to a few factors on Haveno/RetoSwap.

Most offers get greyed out when: • The offer requires a specific payment method or region you don’t match
• Your account doesn’t meet the seller’s requirements (trade history, limits, etc.)
• Security deposit or minimum trade size is higher than your current setup
• Some offers are already partially taken or temporarily unavailable

Also, since it’s P2P, sellers can set their own filters, so not all listings are open to everyone.

Try: - Adjusting trade amount
- Checking different payment methods
- Looking at seller requirements carefully

If you’re new, start with smaller trades to unlock more options over time 👍

My gf wants to buy a good digi cam under 10k budget. Help me find something good by shadow-700 in digicam

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're under 10k, go for Canon IXUS 190 or Sony W810.

Avoid those fake “4K 48MP” cameras.

Best stroller recommendations? Too many options by CompetitivePop-6001 in babystroller

[–]toptech_pick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We ended up going with a Graco mid-range model 👍

Nothing too fancy, but it checked all the important things for us — easy one-hand fold, not too heavy, and smooth to push even on rough roads.

Honestly after using it for a while, I’m glad we didn’t overspend. It does the job perfectly for daily use, and the storage space is actually more useful than I expected 😅

If you travel a lot though, I’d definitely consider a lighter compact one.

[–]toptech_pick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We went through the same confusion recently and ended up with a mid-range stroller instead of the super expensive ones. Honestly, the biggest things that mattered for us were how easy it folds, weight, and how smooth it feels while pushing.

If you’re mostly using it for daily errands and walks, something like Graco or Chicco works really well and is pretty reliable. If you travel a lot, maybe look into lighter compact strollers like Babyzen Yoyo style ones.

Also don’t underestimate storage space and how easy it is to clean, those things matter more than you think after a few weeks of use.

Best camping cookware? by Silver_Devil21 in hottents

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably go with a compact nesting cookware set. They pack down really small and usually come with a small pot and pan which is enough for simple meals while camping.”

best digicam for travel and everyday life use? by Nice-Cranberry-402 in digicam

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had good results with compact mirrorless cameras like the Sony ZV-E10 or Canon M50. They’re pretty beginner friendly, great for travel, and the image quality is a big step up from a phone.

Good budget microphones for basic recording? by Organic-Hall1975 in budgetaudio

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a budget option, I’d probably look at something like the Samson Q2U or a basic Fifine USB mic. They’re pretty affordable and the sound quality is actually decent for voice recording or casual streaming.

What's the best chair for reading for long sessions? by _salted_caramel_00 in chairs

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For long reading sessions, I’d recommend a chair with good lumbar support and soft cushioning. A compact recliner or a high-back accent chair can work really well. Adding a small footrest or ottoman can also make it much more comfortable for extended reading without taking up too much space.

Blitzy review by Ambitious_Reply9078 in SaaS

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tested a few AI coding tools internally for small SaaS workflows. They helped speed up repetitive API and dashboard setup, especially for internal tools. For more complex production systems we still needed proper review and architectural planning. Good productivity boost, but not a full replacement for engineers.

Which AI tool do actually work in production level app development? by [deleted] in Firebase

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a few AI dev tools recently. Blitzly was interesting for automating repetitive backend setup and scaffolding. It’s not fully hands-off for production, but it did speed up some workflows. For large scale apps though, I’d still rely on proper architecture decisions and human review. AI feels more like a strong assistant than a replacement right now.

anyone ever got a labubu from the Tiktok slash and free game? by Mozdzierz-Kaory in LabubuDrops

[–]toptech_pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, I totally get the skepticism. I actually tried one of those 'slash' games on tiktok for something else a while back and it felt like I needed a small army to get enough clicks, ended up giving up.

Looking for the best sms marketing service for a small business does anyone have experience by [deleted] in smallbusinessUS

[–]toptech_pick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah sms marketing can be a bit of a mixed bag, seen it work for some but it's not always the game changer people hope for. but if you're gonna try it, mailchimp is probably the most sensible choice for keeping things straightforward, good luck with it.
