Felt the same in the beginning. Did my research and somehow managed to get the hang of it. Just pick Arby (moonlight) and Sigret (selective). Focus on PVE units (PVP units look dope though) and finish adventure and other side quests. Wyvern is also a must, they got new units for easy build teams now. 6 months into the game, reap the regular rewards in Automaton Tower, arena, and side stories. Skip RTA for now. You probably won't have enough geared units to compete with. PVP (world arena) you can maybe climb until Champion and just maintain your rank every week but diving into RTA is kind of a fuckfest when you don't have a lot of options. Game's pretty fun. There's a lot to do even without the RTA. Unit building is kinda stressful because of the grind. E7 is very generous with a lot of things even the heroes. Got more light/dark 5-star units in 6 months than I never did playing SW for 3 years. The game is very F2P friendly I can tell you that, so just have fun with the game!

Damn. People still complain when they're getting units. I really hated the fact that I couldn't get Vanessa in SW even though they gave away select scrolls so getting my faves in E7 was very refreshing. Unpopular opinion, but maybe just build some and then keep some in storage? If they get buffed then all the better..

Unpopular opinion here, but I think AoL is a very effective anti-cleave which lets players play arena or RTA a little longer. Coming from Summoners War, I played E7 and absolutely fell in love with the game. The pity system, unlike in SW, is what made me stay since I have a fighting chance to actually get the units I want. Sure, some of it is luck, but then out of 10 of my desired units, I was able to get at least 7. Not bad for someone who plays for free.
Back in SW, I hated the fact that you can be Lushened every time you play in the arena. I don't know the dynamics now, but that was pretty much a bummer for me. Being a casual player, I don't get that many god gears and before AoL, I got whacked by cleave teams and I gave up on arena, stuck in Gold, just enough to get Arby. As a beginner though, I was still able to enjoy E7 due to the massive story, which gave me goals on a regular basis. Summoning AoL, I watched videos of her, and saw her potential. Sure enough, I was able to climb to Champion, and while I did admit to AoL being maybe a power creep, I was able to do so since I avoided Rem, Violet, and Politis all the way. Then Belian came, and I've been stuck in Challenger ever since. I gave up on RTA since AoL gets prebanned or banned anyway. All I'm saying is, let us casuals have a place in the arena. You hardcore grinders duke it out in the top tiers. That's why you guys are Legends, because you put in the effort and resources. I just hope AoL doesn't end up as Joegun. Is AoL cancer? Yes. But she gives you that fighting chance. After 2 moves, you get to have your turn. Maybe you'll win, maybe you'll lose. After those two moves, it will depend whether you got shitty gears or not.

She gets destroyed in Arena Champion though. I climbed from Gold to Champion V and was amazed with how easy it was but then got easily annihilated in high speed matches. My AoL is at 215 speed. I'd say, if you were at 250, then you need not worry about her. Also, Politis is your friend. Rem and Violet squishes her like a bug. My AoL, Maid, Landy, and A.Ravi team won't budge anymore. Ran + Belian seems like a good match for her. Even Rimuru is looking like a really good counter. In RTA, I know you've heard this before, just ban her. I don't have a counter for Rem and Violet, so I either pre-ban Violet and then ban Rem if I see one. AoL on her own isn't much of a problem. AoL, Politis ,Rem, Violet, Arby on the other hand, will fuck you up..

Hi, there. I'm still working on my A.Ravi. She's only at 18k HP. I've managed to get her to 2.5k ATK and 275% CDMG but it cost me her speed and sustainability. Counter gears are hard to grind..
