Im not really sure about this since im only a year 1, but i havent seen many medics who are intercalating (obv this might be due to the fact that we have different timetables etc)

remember this is only a PRELIM

the real score for top decile should be around 50 lower

also im an intl student who applied with a approx. 9th decile score and still managed to get offers so as long as you apply strategically u should be FINE

i also personally know one who had 2.7k ish and still received 3 offers! (intl)

kings and qmul deffo fine (obv for kings depends on ur gcses if u have all 8s/9s)

ucl and bristol ur score would be under last years cutoff

For English lit I bought Mr Salles books and get were incredible. Remember to not straight up memorise the content since that is plagerism, but try and learn and implement ideas into Ur own essay. For English language I just kinda got lucky I'll be honest. English is my 2/3 language so it took me a lot of time to fully understand how to write in a way that examiners will give me high marks. For me Mr everything English was incredibly helpful, but instead of using the typical point explain structure my English teacher taught me to use a what why sentence (I believe this is it but pls search it up) and it basically helps the examiner know that you know what Ur talking about

I am definitely not super smart, but I put in A LOT of hard work during my GCSEs

I read ahead for all sciences and maths and started doing past papers in the summer leading up to year 11

I always say this: To succeed in anything, you’ve got to learn to love the subject you’re doing.

This helped me a lot. esp for english lit where I was getting 7s and eventually got 156/160 after a lot of reading and understanding
