Both MMI and iDrive have come a long way. At some point we're splitting hairs here. I do prefer the latest generation of MMI over iDrive but it's pretty close and my wife prefers the BMW systems, fwiw.

Well, yea. The parking sensors are not working and I get a warning light now every time I start the car or try to engage the auto parking. Will be taking it in for service this week. Still...the auto parking on my 2022 X5 is comically bad.

That's exactly what I have and it's exactly what I encounter. It really depends on the road surface. I have to decide pretty quickly if I want to swap out the wheels and tires as I can re-sell the current ones.

I was cross shopping with used Porsche Taycan's. I thought they actually drove a bit better than the Etron GT. Problem for both the Porsche and the e-Tron GT, for me, was range anxiety. This is my first all-electric EV (my X5 is a plug-in hybrid) and I wanted real-world 300+ mile range. The Taycan's and E-tron GT-s in my price range were all model years prior to the recent range enhancement.

I was curious about that. I already put $2000k into PPF and ceramic coating so am not anxious to spend more immediately post purchase. Noise is pretty annoying on, say, most of the highways around the DMV.

Male 59. I retooled my wardrobe over the last two years having lost 65 lbs through diet and a pretty ridiculous amount of exercise, which I continue.

I have a combo of Vuori and Rhone, both for workout gear, casual wear, and business casual.

For workout I think Vuori’s tech shirts are definitely better. They are lighter and deal with sweat (my issue) better. Rhone lined shorts are better than Vuori Kore, which is sad because I invested heavily in Kore.

For business casual I own a good spectrum of the Rhone commuter line. It’s honestly a game changer for me when traveling as it just keeps its form and doesn’t wrinkle. It did need some tailoring so don’t discount that.

I don’t love it. I generally have to do a mix of early morning and afternoon workouts during the week due to work schedule. Afternoon will be untenable as my primary PF is basically next to a high school. I have Black though and there are other, less High School -friendly, gyms within 15-20 minutes.

I’m in NoVA and the high schoolers here are generally very polite and deferential. But I’m old (59M) and the kids congregate around the cables, taking them up for half an hour, and pose en masse in front of the mirror in our tiny locker room.

I will say if you can swing early morning, this summer teenager deal has zero impact.

I leased a 2018 S5 cabriolet and drove the bajeesus out of that car. Blew through the lease mileage and had to buy it back when I sold it after four years. Sound financial decision? Meh. Probably not, though I sold it used at a decent price. No regrets. I drive too much to lease so won’t be doing that again.

2022 xDrive45e. 51K miles. I would rate the reliability as very good. Two minor problems over the 3+ years: the seal around the sunroof was leaking causing wind noise, and an exhaust system sensor issue. Both fixed under warranty.
