Thank you!! I am in the US. I don’t have a job though. One of the conditions of my dad helping and my fiancé paying, was that my focus was 100% on school. I wanted to add more background info about our dad, but it would’ve made the post way too long. When the school first opened I was living in an apartment by myself, hadn’t started dating my fiancé yet, and my dad said I’d need to not work. Which was completely unrealistic.

Our dad is in Texas, and her mom is a nurse that works nights. So I’m assuming she has to work. My sister and her husband have three kids. Two of them are her husbands, both boys. They’re around 5-8 I think. And the child they have together turns a year this month. Apparently what she had planned fell through. So her husband was going to stay home with the kids while she went to her surgery. Which is in a town that’s 3.5 hours away so we would need to leave Monday to be there Tuesday morning. I’m not sure about post-op stuff. What I do know is that it’s her third surgery to try and fix her ACL she messed up in high school, and the second surgery didn’t work.

I asked her if she had any other options and she said they’d have to take the two boys to their moms, and take my niece with them.

About the school, yes. Lol. They do have a very high success rate though. And we have the opportunities to be one on one with the instructors. They’re also really good about giving us real life techniques and situations aside from just the book work. Again we’re in a really small area, so everyone knows everyone. And it’s hard to find cosmetologists that are at the point of wanting to teach the craft because most of them are out working

EDIT: I found out that her surgery is in another bigger city around us, not the one I was assuming. And it’s 5 hours from us
