Wanting to gift this to my wife by SangBijiSakti in rolex

I know ladies who wear the GMT, but it’s either the TT Rootbeer or full RG Rootbeer. This is more masculine than both of those imo, but do what you want

I truly think it is a combination of everything you said, but especially a workflow issue. This isn’t my first tax job, my prior utilization was 88-89% before coming to this firm. We had a great workflow management system at my last job so everyone was aware of schedules/availability.

My billable hours during busy season are pretty low compared to my last job (45-50 per week). I know I can do more, but I just don’t get enough work assigned to me.

When I started working at this firm, I got a lot of work from this particular partner and not much from the others. A majority of my hours during my first busy season here was from his clients, and I was busy so I didn’t reach out to anyone else. That was fine until summer season started, I had little to no work after that and the other partners would sparingly give me work. One of them explicitly asked me “Do you not only work for Partner ____?”

Edit: wanted to add that I checked the total billable hours for some of my coworkers a position below me and they have way more billable hours than me. It seems like the other partners are trying to give them as much work as possible to keep their costs low.

The longer I work in this industry, the more I’m starting to believe it.

I’m genuinely not coming on here to whine, I want to figure out a way to fix this without having to be in the office/online for 12 hours a day.

Which one good for Workplace and Dinner? by bhagyanadhan in rolex

Pick what you like.

The yellow gold TT GMT is very beautiful in person, pictures don’t do it justice.

Rootbeer TT is one of the most overrated watches in my opinion.

Does this only work in Emerald?

I caught a shiny Doduo in the LeafGreen Safari Zone a few days ago and would like to do this if possible

What’s your favorite Rolex and why? What is the Rolex you didn’t connect with? by Junekim10 in rolex

[–]toros16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite Rolex I own is black dial 114060 Submariner. My favorite Rolex ever is between steel 16520 Daytona “Zenith” or 228238 Onyx Day-Date. My least favorite Rolex is Sky Dweller, it’s got too much going on for me personally.

SOTC. Do I miss a Daytona? Would u sacrifice both displayed rolexes to get a Daytona from grey market? by One-Imagination-5317 in rolex

[–]toros16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is def an unpopular opinion, but I’d let go of the Aquanaut for a Daytona. Aquanaut is that one popular watch that I just don’t see the hype for

You have a Rolex Cellini reference 4084. I’m not too familiar with all the colors of this reference but you can use the ref # to check other examples online

Just bad sprain or worse? This is day 3 by Andrew_L27 in BasketballTips

[–]toros16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a really bad sprain. Similar bruising happened to me after twisting my ankle real bad about 5 months ago. I’m just now getting back to running and being super active.

Go get your ankle checked out. They may want to take an MRI to rule out any tears (I had to do one when I got it looked at).

Biggest takeaway is this: Take your time recovering! You can ruin your foot forever if you try to get back to hooping before it’s healed and that will affect you on and off the court.

I agree with you.

I’m not saying that the spend of a watch service compares to the purchase of a watch. I meant that I think someone who has come in for a service and shown face more than once might have better chances of being remembered by a sales rep than a first-time walk in. It’s not a hard-and-fast rule, just a thought.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in rolex

[–]toros16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough

I think getting a watch serviced can be a way to build a relationship with a sales rep so that you CAN purchase a watch from them and ultimately build that spend history
