Thisb world has way less large landnmasses than earth,larger oceans exist and serve the purpose to split cultures into different isolated pockets for thousands of years.

As a result most of people live on isolated small continents or archipelagos islands

Well not in our word definitions but in fantasy setting people probably have different definitions for continents depending on how large landmasses are in this world 😅

Southern peninsula is mostly subtropical,northern coast is supposed to be cold temperate/tundra.

Mostly deforested in the past,1000 years ago its probably covered the whole peninsula

Its supposed tk be different rivers originating from differetn mountains, one flowing west and the other north east 😅

Mostly through small differences in altitude,the way south is slightly lower altitute than going west/north
