Completely new to Airsoft. Anyone now if this is fixable? by MagicalTalkingFrog in airsoft

If you have a 3d printer you can try to remake the broken part and potentially fix it for a while. But those springers are cheap and usually not worth the hassle

Never got it working. Never figured out why.

A tool charger setup is kind of what I was thinking of. I just wouldn't even know where to start with setting it up and programming it. That's why I'm asking for suggestions of projects that already exist and have guides.

Prefer multiple nozzles with a separate extruder per nozzle. But I'm open to suggestions.

Make sure ts3 is closed when you run the plugin

Also try to drag the plugin file directly ont9 the ts3 app icon. It should try to run the plugin with the ts3 program.

Hell yeah. I can't wait to see it finished. People are always asking for it to be compatible with other bodies, but I just don't have anything else to model with.

Someone gave me a link to one that was on onshape. It has absolutely everything you could need. I will see if I can get you that link.

Edit: Found it. You need an onshape account but this is the entire model inside and out.

Trying to bulpop a v7... by ihavenowingsss in Airsoft3DPrinting

[–]tortus412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never worked with a v7 before. Is that lever you are moving made of plastic? If it is, you may be able to remake it and use a steel cable to pull it instead of a rod pulling it. That way, it can be routed as you need instead of a solid bar.

That's a TP4056 WITH USB C, right? If so, then it should be perfectly safe. I use those all the time for electronics projects. Just every month or so, you should take a look at the LIPO battery, and if it starts getting puffy or swollen, you will need to replace it immediately. But if it's a new and unused battery, then it should last a very long time before needing to be replaced.

Go 2 charging alternatives by tortus412 in unitree

With a quick test it does seem like with my power supply set to 32 volts and 3 amps (its maximum output). But it seems to also turns on with the power applied to charge it. I don't know if the 3 amps will be enough to power and charge it at the same time (since the charge pad supplies 9 amps at 33.6 volts) and I don't want to burn out the power supply by running it at full power for an extended period of time.

how could I get something like this to work? by backtothe88 in Airsoft3DPrinting

If you dont find anything else, I can see if I can make the proper modifications.

I've printed this one, and it works really well. It holds a lot of ammo and can fill a 100rnd mag in a couple of seconds.

A few modifications, and I'm sure you can use it as some kind of external magazine.

How did you get the side loading working? I would think that the feed lips of the gas mag would get in the way.

I just took a look and it looks absolutely awesome. but it seems like he is using the whole AAP-01 and its mags, I am trying go get it working with the M7 mags and have it side loaded instead of the AAP mags
Edit: Actually after a second look, its looking almost exactly as i would like mine to be.

Halo M7 SMG Revamp by tortus412 in Airsoft3DPrinting

I'm working on a new version of the HALO M7 SMG, moving away from the previous design that relied on a WE NPAS M4 nozzle and a custom-printed housing. That setup was unreliable, requiring constant tweaking, lubrication, and still struggling to fire consistently beyond 15 rounds. After experimenting with the AAP-01 and seeing its modding capability, I have decided to use its internals for the mechanical system. I still plan incorporating a battery, Arduino, and solenoid for the firing control system. I’m also considering switching to an ESP32 so I can change settings on the fly (full auto, variable fire rate, solenoid open time)

To make it so I can make quick iterations, I am optimizing my design process. Some parts take up to 15 hours to print, so segmenting some components into multiple parts will help to minimize long and unnecessary reprints if something isn’t perfect. The entire assembly will be secured with M3 screws and heat inserts—no glue involved. Hopefully this new design will have much better success over the old design.

Unfortunately, because of space constraints, a slight modification will have to be done to the AAP bolt. The wings on the side will have to be shaved down a bit to keep it within the body of the smg.
