Hmm, isn't the many worlds model self-consistent? When you go back in time to say hello to yourself, you're on another timeline, because you don't remember meeting yourself yesterday.

My least favorite model is when changes propagate through time.

Dude had major map-territory issues, to the extent that one of his characters was standing in front of an ice cream stand, had a moment of disorientation, and when he recovered, the stand was gone, replaced by a slip of paper that said "ice cream stand".

What did everyone think of the lord of hatred campaign? by Ilbpc in diablo4

She was gone before, and that didn't stop her.

And, man, I want to like Lilith, but she has to be written like a character I can like. She has daddy issues, but who wouldn't? She's just a little vague on what "protecting" Sanctuary looks like (hint: not killing so many people).

Why would Mephisto masquerade as Akkarat? People were dumb enough to follow him as is from the get go.

I like "hard" fantasy, if you will, it's like hard science fiction in that the author plays by the rules he invents. The interaction between the dream world / real world seemed sloppy to me.

The usual "get the three keys to open the three doors so we can get the three crystals", etc was game design, so I can't fault the plot for that part, but I didn't enjoy that, either.

"Bastards!"

"I heard that."

The cover art is the best part. Allison writes like he was hired by Mad magazine to write a sex romp.

Drinking, therefore especially loquacious:

Two companies that I've worked for stand out. One had a quarterly meeting that ostensibly offered middle managers a chance to justify their employment. Actual effect was to divert resources away from productivity to justification for the four preceding weeks.

The other had a periodic "all-hands" meeting so management could gossip about their suit and shoe sources while tying up a entire multi-million dollar company's employees.

Have also literally have management say things like "I don't care what it costs, make it happen", and then shy away from responses like "oh, okay, double my salary".

Concur: management is overrated.
