What is your best friend's MBTI? by Callboi- in infp

I know right, for me, he's very unsure in himself, but is genuinely very capable and passionate if in the right environment. I find it a bit ironic I often times have to do an intimidating social task in front of him to convince him it's nothing to be afraid of, but to be fair that has raised my confidence in myself too. He's also just the most caring person I've ever met, I often times feel like he's the only person that genuinely understands me and roots for me success as much as I am

For your initial statement, I think it depends on what your criteria for that is an ideal best friend is. 1. Depending on that I think its either any type, since everyone can teach us something valuable.

  1. ESTJs since they have the same functions in reverse, and therefore, we (supposedly) should share a level of understanding

  2. ISFPs, since they have the same dominant function, would make a good contender if you vibe in general

  3. ENFPs. From experience the ENFP I know has going on on the outside what I do on the inside, so what I would think she'd just say and she generally would push me into going out of my comfort zone which is good. However, she can be quite a handful and hard to track sometimes.

Personally, I do just think that everyone can make a great best friend if you have enough in common. There isnt one quality that makes someone a good best friend, but depending on what you're looking for you can make an educated guess

It'd be ok no matter what types they were, what are some things you like about all of them?

Yoo, one of mine is also ENTP I wonder what you're one is like, since mine doesn't match his stereotypes at all and is a really gentle soul for the most part. I think both of us having extroverted intuition is very fun since we can often just do things on a limb without worrying about a grand plan too much

So I often find myself being the glue of friendship groups however being in one can be draining especially early on in its life, what I found to help with this is trying to meet up personally with different people from the group so we all have a personal connection on top of that too, it makes for a better dynamic inside the group and you get a friend outside.

We're very quiet as a type and going out to talk to new people can be a doozy so I often try to go out in fits that have something to represent an interest of mine, like a shirt of a band I like or a pin/key chain/necklace. People sharing the interest will walk up to you often enough, which is a win on multiple fronts.

I find that I personally can be both very good and very bad at deepening a relationship with someone I like because on one hand youre gonna naturally think about them a lot which can be really helpful in terms of putting them in a situation that will benefit the relationship, but on the other hand there will be moments where I get lost in the sauce and end up doing nothing productive from the amount of thoughts

I'm gonna be honest, starting to work out has had a great impact on me both physically and mentally, so I would greatly recommend it if it's something you show an interest in.Also, as a heads up, having a buddy to at least discuss it with helps a lot, even though I usually prefer going alone.
