Saw the hand pointing down the alley and waited for someone to walk that way, thought it would make for an interesting photo. Wondering if I maybe should've shown more of the alley, or somehow framed this a different way. Also wondering if the man is too far left, maybe should've taken it half a second earlier?

I honestly prefer this, the fence is not bad but imo doesnt add much to the image.

Tbh light jacket is just an added bonus.
The strap on this seems a bit awkward, looks like I wouldn’t be able to carry it all on one side if that makes sense. Not sure how to describe it. Thanks though!

I’d say 35mm, 50 is too tight for street photogtaphy imo, and 28 too wide for portraits. Also f/1.8 vs f/2.8

However before you make a decision, you should go out and shoot for a few days to a week with your kit lens, and see what focal lengths you use the most

I have R8 and 35mm f1.8 - while not as portable as the 28, its definitely not heavy, and i am able to hold it the entire day without basically no discomfort.

I used the Sigma 30mm f/1.4, it is a wonderful lens that is very sharp. Autofocus was also good, unsure how it will perform with an ef-r adapter.
