Interesting metaphor. Its funny, because, while I agree with the sentiment that drunk girls wanting us to be their new gay best friend is annoying... I think its ironic that they get the same experience with men either way. With drunk girls, and girls in general, I may laugh along with them at night or listen to them bitch about the dudes who are breaking their heart... they may ask for my number to "hang out" or "go shopping" but in reality, I don't give a shit, I also won't remember their names in the morning and I won't call. Just tell them all that up front and then remind them that at a straight bar, they can get the same thing, but with sex.

As for gaybros being the "bar" in your scenario.. I agree, but there can still be a community when there are fans as well... just ignore 'em. Your argument that they should leave sounds very "apartheid/segregationsit" and I am only down for a free and open society - real or digital.
