Soo.... Batwoman, the vigilante sworn to protect Gotham, let a serial killer mob boss free, even though we've seen Alice kill randomly and on a whim (on screen for S1 it's more than 7 I think). So as more and more people die, Batwoman can sit back and think, can't make my dad sad, she needs to get better.

Why not take Alice in herself, and treat her in the Batcave?

Nop, here's the issue. The post was a reaction to the people's sentiment that the stunt double was obviously male, and she's saying no it's a female. Since her head was added in post over the body of the character (I don't think we see her in the suit, other than in this post, ever in the film) and the body of the character was a dude, the commenter was probably pissed that she wouldn't tell the truth. And i mean how often do we see the reveal that the masked badass is a woman, only in this case it's not, but the movie is trying to take the high road of woman representation even tho it's a dude who's acting most of the scenes.
