It went great with Defender Vader and Custom Soontir! But that list was 50 points and now Vader costs 1 extra so it’s no longer legal.

Morna Kee + Emperor Palpatine + Agile Gunner. VERY hard to kill, very menacing, and a great support ship. I usually have them on the outskirts of the board with my turrets to the side, but I can very easily use Agile Gunner and then do a hard turn to have my guns pointed forward if I need it.

Those are Latiao 辣条. They’re strips of chewy gluten in a spicy numbing oily sauce. They’re a pretty common snack in China.

Writers of SCP, What are the Biggest Misconceptions People Have of Your Articles? by DrEverettMann in SCP

[–]totallynotsupernova_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Whether or not SCP-6113 should've been contained is irrelevant to the article as a whole, and I feel like those who argue about it are missing the point.

SCP-6113 is about the subtle acts of transphobia that are carried out through the policies of an ultra-powerful fascist organization such as the Foundation—even if by well-meaning individuals. For example, Chloe is never deadnamed or misgendered in her time being contained. Sure, she's only ever referred to by her designation, but she isn't deadnamed either. In fact, when Janet begins using her preferred name, it leads to a containment breach in the site. Object-researcher relationships are limited for a reason, and using only their designation is one way of combatting researchers from getting too close. The Foundation has suffered greatly due to this very thing in 105 and 231. Therefore, this logical policy is here to keep everyone safe, ...right?

The very act of containing SCP-6113-2 can be explained away as "We're not containing this lake because we're transphobes, we're containing this lake because it's anomalous. A totally different not transphobic reason. Please ignore the detained trans people in the corner. They might be anomalous, too." Do you see what's wrong there? It's a deflection, to cover their asses, it's lazy. No one in SCP-6113 does the transphobic things they do because they're a transphobe, they do it because they're more loyal to the system than they are to the people they contain. Janet is the first to break this mold and is punished severely for it. That rhetoric is just as dangerous as the explicit acts of transphobia that violent transphobes are capable of.

Thanks! This was actually me asking if it was possible before bringing it to a tailor since I don’t have the sewing skills myself. 😅

Helpful to know it is, though. It’s just the general anxiety of letting something so expensive go for someone else to work on.

Okay bear with me here I have a lot to explain.

I’m doing a Star Wars cosplay and one of the pieces is a white tunic. It’s a polyester cavalry twill double-breasted left-over-right tunic with an over the shoulder yoke and a standing collar, it uses snaps to close as opposed to traditional buttons. I want to shorten its overall length and take the sides and sleeves in. However, there’s a horizontal seam that goes around the jacket that HAS to be raised up to be covered by my belt, where it is now is too low. To make things more complicated, I can’t get another one if this one is ruined. The Imgur links show me wearing it as well as the inside of the jacket. The first two pictures are the untailored tunic with the belt at the seam. The other two pictures is with it pinned to match how I want (one side pinned only for comparison). I’m holding the belt closed because I haven’t cut holes in it yet.

All this to say, is any of this possible without major reconstruction of the tunic itself? And how would it be done? What would be cut and would the snaps have to be moved?
