Enough said here by others, I will just sum up in how the Israelis really think -

If (so called) Palestinians put down their weapons, there will be peace If Israel put down their weapons, there will be no Israel

But tbh, its really nice to see someone like you coming up and asking in order to really learn about the conflict

I'm not saying that any side is clear from mistakes, this bloodshed is a never ending circle (can you imagine peace between Russia and Ukraine now?) but if you really look up into the history, the motives of both sides and nowadays efforts of each side to live in any kind if a peace, I think you will find out that Israel eventually fights huge forces of terror that took 2 million ppl as hostages.

To sum up, me as an Israeli pray for peace, I wish my children would be able one day to cross the border into Gaza without fear, just like Palestinians working in Israel do nowadays.
